Programme of events 2026

The Duxford Soap Box Derby will take place on the 6th September 2026 in Duxford, Cambridgeshire.

The full programme of events — pre-derby pub nights, registration and scrutineering times, road closure times, and the parade route — is still being finalised and will be published here closer to the date. Please check back, or watch our news page and social media for updates.

Duxford Soap Box Derby Races

Race day timings are expected to be approximately the same as in 2024 and 2025:

• 11:30am road closures start
• approx. 12:00 Noon Children’s Race
  • Race one: 4-7 and 8-11 year olds
  • Race two: 12-15 year olds
• approx. 1:30pm Adult’s Race
  • The Phill Hill Cup
• 2:30pm roads re-open
